Fall Fashion on a College Budge

Looking for sweaters, cute boots, or just anything to bring together your fall look? Here’s some helpful ways to help you shop smart for fall.

Thrift Stores and Inexpensive Clothing Stores

Goodwill, Ross, and Bargain Hunt are examples of places were you can save more and buy more. We all want to rock the new fashion trends but how is that going to be possible with not much cash? You can easily make a look happen by shopping smart and paying attention to prices. You can find your fave shoes somewhere for $30 but find a cheaper price and same look for only $5. You don’t need to throw away your whole wallet to look cute. Go to your local thrift store and look around to see what you can find.

Brown Lips

Brown lips have always been a go-to look. Around fall is an excellent time to show them off. You can also get some lip colors form a drugstore. Most recommended would be Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS. What kind of lip products exactly? Well some would be hard candy liquid lipstick, wet ‘n’ wild, e.l.f., and NYX. All of them range under a $6 budget. You can also find some online shops such as: Colourpop ($6 + shipping and handling) and BH Cosmetics ($4). Go ahead and show off how well you can pull off that look.

DIY Beanies

Now if you’re more of a crafty person, this is just for you. Rather than going out and shopping for head gear you can stay inside, throw on some music, and make it yourself. All you need is any old sweater, knit, sweatshirt to cut up and glue or sew together. To get a more thorough explanation, check out AndreaChoices on YouTube.

Fall Dresses and Skirts

For anyone who’s all about dressing up and going out, it’s hard to adjust to the weather. Some days it’s a bit nip tuck and others can be warmer. You can always pull of a long sleeve dress with some knee/thigh high boots or a long skirt with a cute top. The best places to look would be on clearance at any clothes stores right around when summer ends. There’s always a 2-for-1 sale. Instead of paying $15 for a dress you can get two at the price of one. As for skirts, the colder it gets, it’s best to look online. Some places would be ROWME, Rose WholeSale, and Wish. Always read reviews for these items to see what you have to do, like if you have to get a size bigger or smaller.
