Movie Review: Black Panter

This highly anticipated Marvel movie lives up to its hype. In its first week of its release, it had grossed over 700 million in the box and the fifth best selling movie in cinema history. This film is packed with beautiful graphics, amazing acting, and not a single plot-hole that differs it from the original comic series.

We follow T’Challa, Black Panther, as he becomes king of the technologically advanced city of Wakanda. On his journey he tries to find the person who is trying to destroy the city and comes face to face with a hidden family secret.

Actors such as Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, and Lupita Nyong’o also star in this film. Audiences are impressed with the amount of diversity this movie offers and the representation for Africa itself. From language, body markings, fashion, and tribes, the movie brings a positive light onto the African culture that has been suppressed in the media for years.

It’s safe to say if you haven’t already seen this film, you’re missing out big time. As it starts to calm down, it can be easier to catch a ticket for the film in regular or 3D. Don’t miss out on this mind blowing experience.
