Movie Review: Ready Player One

Ready Player One (RP1) recently came out to a few mixed reviews, but overall accepted fairly well. Of course no competitor to the Upcoming Avengers Infinity War or the Han Solo film coming out in May. But it holds its own in this strange stagnant stretch of movies until the big summer blockbusters everybody is waiting for.

Ready Player One is sure to go down in the movies to review of 2018. Directed by Steven Spielberg, RP1 delivers an action packed adventure of all of your favorite childhood memories come to life on the big screen. In fact there are so many icons in this movie you often wonder how they got the rights to use them in this movie!

In my personal opinion this is a movie everyone should see, and one day may achieve cult status and even be watched in College classes as it spells out a very important note that warns us of our Pop Culture induced lifestyle – Take a Break.

So far the movie has made headlines with an astounding $53 Million in the first 4 days with an ever increasing payout. The movie has something for everyone, whether it’s something you’ve loved since childhood or something you forgot about. But just in case, go see the movie.
