Movies In Review: Thor Ragnarok

Thor Ragnarok, the latest edition in the Thor trilogy, is a wonderfully funny, charismatic, colorful and exciting addition to the Marvel Cinematic mythos. If I wasn’t laughing throughout the entire movie, then I was on the edge of my seat watching the action unfold.

If I wasn’t laughing throughout the entire movie, then I was on the edge of my seat watching the action unfold.

Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the beloved Asgardian Thor, along with his returning co-star Tom Hiddleston as Loki. The duo can be seen throughout the movie engaged in hilarious banter and life-threatening situations. The movie is a must see for any Marvel fan or movie goer, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

My favorite role in the film by far was Tessa Thompson. She played a Valkyrie, an elite royal guard who helps Thor with his quest. It was wonderful to see Mark Ruffalo come back as Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, wonderful one-liners and top of the line action accompanied his role.

The cameos were the next best thing. Look out for big stars such as Matt Damon if you can believe it. The rest of the movie is insanely good, with a strong female driven enemy to put the cherry on top of the Thor sundae.

Seriously if you haven’t seen it, go now and watch it a couple time at least. You won’t want to miss the comedy for sure!
