OATS: Community Involvement in October

Want to know what’s happening locally with Wilmington College and the community? Follow the monthly OATS with Loryn Bryson.

South Street Wine Cellar will be teaming up with the Wilmington Public Library the 3rd Wednesday of each month to host- Wine and Words. There will be a book discussion, wine, and a getting to know everyone at the event!

Main Street Wilmington hosts the Chocolate Walk, October 16th. There will be 17 shops participating. Purchase tickets at: mainstreetwilmington.com

Brausch Brewery is Wilmington’s first craft brewery. Located on South 68. It has five locally brewed beers on tap. It is now open Thursday-Saturday from 3p.m.-11p.m. Customers are welcome to bring food, or have it delivered.

Oktoberfest is September 25th-26th at St. Columkille parking lot. German Oktoberfest beers on tap, Friday will be Monte Carlo night. The near by General Denver will be serving German inspired dishes as the special.
