Peace Corps Prep Program Presents Food Night

Come one, come all. On April 11, 2018 the Peace Corps Prep Program (PCPP) will be hosting a food night immediately before Peace Trivia. The club will be hosting several more food nights and each night will spotlight a different culture. Next Wednesday, the culture being spotlighted is
India.

Indian Cuisine will be provided by Taste of India, a restaurant in Lebanon that specializes in Indian cuisine. President of the PCPP, Ellyse Herr, shares, “We will be serving various types of naan, three different selections of curry, and a lot of rice.”

The club decided to create a monthly food night so that the students of Wilmington College could experience food from different cultures around the world- food one might not encounter on a daily basis. Nikki Smith, a new member of the Peace Corps Prep Program, shares, “The food night is the night where we serve food from a specific culture to expand people’s exposure to cultural diversity.”

Expanding your palate is important and gaining knowledge about other cultures while doing so is a hoot. The Peace Corps Prep Program invites all Wilmington College students and staff members to try the delicious Indian cuisine next Wednesday night and stick around for a few rounds of Peace
Trivia.
