Although the fall semester has come to an end, don’t forget about the upcoming Spring events such as the President’s inauguration, the Food Symposium, Greek rush and pledge season, Spring Break, bowling with the Greeks, and Relay for Life.

The first event that will be held on campus in the spring is bowling with the Greeks. On January 18, all Greek organizations will be bowling at Royal Z Lanes here in Wilmington.  All students are invited.

Next, in nation events, President Barack Obama will be inaugurated in Washington D.C. on January 21.

Greek rushes are also held in January. Rushes start on January 22. Everyone is encouraged to attend every rush and find out more about each sorority and fraternity.

Pledge season starts shortly after all Greek rushes. Pledge season will begin on February 4. Pledge season is an amazing experience and a great way to join a sorority or fraternity.

Spring break will begin March first and last till the tenth. Check around campus for information on trips abroad.

The fourth annual Wilmington College Food Symposium is on March 20. The Symposium focuses on how students should eat healthy and maintain a healthy diet. All students are welcomed to attend this event and learn about how to be healthier.

To end the school year, the Wilmington College Relay for Life will take place on campus on April 12. Wilmington College has raised thousands of dollars each year for cancer awareness and research. Students can begin forming teams to raise money as soon as possible.
