Aggies hold annual “Barnyard Olympics”

Kara Pontones Staff Writer   On Thursday October 11th, the Aggies and Collegiate 4-H groups held their annual Barn Yard Olympics. To compete in the Olympics, participants needed to have teams consisting of five people. With an increase in participants this year, there were a total of four teams that competed.   Kara Pontones Staff Writer     It’s not too often you smell the aroma of grilling when you pass by a farm; however, that is exactly what you would have smelled had you passed the Wilmington College Farm last Thursday. The Wilmington College Aggies and Collegiate 4-H clubs hosted their annual “Aggies Cookout” to welcome back returning members and incoming freshmen, as well as to kick off the new school year by holding their first meeting.
