New english professor to be hired at Wilmington College

  Mariah Starr Staff Writer   Starting fall 2013, there will be a new lower-division English professor to teach composition courses at Wilmington College. Mid-September the college put out word that there was a new position available in the English department, with the application deadline at the end of October. Within that month and a half, there were 190 applicants, which was narrowed down to 14 candidates. Search for president closes

Mackenzie Potter Staff Writer Following the announcement from the Wilmington Board of Trustees search for the colleges’ search for the 18th president, nominations and applications were accepted for potential candidates. The four potential Wilmington College presidents have all recently visited campus and met with current students, faculty, and staff members. These candidates are Jim Reynolds, Virginia Horvath, Jem Spectar, and Richard Dunsworth.
