Often times, students complain about how little there is to do on campus, especially on the weekends. There are some good sources to find upcoming activities (the WC app being one of them), but these sources still do not capture all of the exciting events going on. Here is a list of events happening in February that you won’t want to miss out on!
February 12-16: SLEB is hosting the Random Acts of Kindness Week. There will be activities all week long that will promote kindness and hospitality – don’t be scared to check them out!
February 13: The annual game of Sex Squares will be played in the TOP.
February 14: The men’s basketball team will play Capital.
February 15 and 21: Volunteer training will be conducted at the Wilmington Area Humane Society.
February 17: The women’s basketball team plays against Baldwin Wallace.
February 19-20: SGA Elections will be held during lunch and dinner both days. Don’t miss out on your chance to vote for your student government!
February 21: Career Services will be holding the second part of the Resume Development Workshop with Jobscan. Contact Nina Talley for more information.
February 23: RA applications are due to Housing.
February 24: There will be a service opportunity at Holmes Elementary. Find out more information by getting in touch with a member of SLEB.
Keep a look out for any other events that pop up in the next few weeks! There will be many more activities in March as well, but don’t forget to live in the present and go to these events!
